[And with that, Ryoji just places the PCD somewhere so that it keeps the camera on him, while he takes a few steps back. Vriska won't be able to see anything if he's up too close.

He hesitates for a moment, still, but... suddenly, there's a flash of a light - it takes barely a second - and before anyone knows it, in the spot where Ryoji stood just a moment ago, now there's something way bigger and different-looking levitating above the ground.]

Yes. I might look and sound different... but it's still me. This is how I look like in my Shadow form.

[A flash of light engulfs everything for barely a second again, and Ryoji's back where he stood before. There's a faint, sad smile on his lips.]

No... but it's not something I'm exactly proud or fond of. I don't like being that way, to be honest.

And I can't help but think... that a lot of people might not want to have anything to do with me anymore once they saw me like that. So the fact that you're not scared of me even despite that... means a lot to me.
