Adstringendum - Ten Years Later Event
[Ten years later] event information...
...for Ryoji?
...
I've been thinking about this for a while, and seeing as everyone else was getting really into it, I didn't want to be left out~ SO HERE GOES NOTHING. \o/
Unlike most of your characters getting older and stuff, however, I figured Ryoji's case would be a bit different. If this is an event that is supposed to show what can happen in an alternate kind of future of the character, but doesn't really have to... well, I guess we all like to let our imagination run loose at such things. 8D
I AM A CRUEL PERSON FOR MAKING THIS HAPPEN BUT I'M ACTUALLY EXCITED OVER THIS AND HOPE YOU WILL ENJOY ALL TEH DRAMZ WHICH WILL BE MOST LIKELY INEVITABLE AT SOME POINT
(Timeline goes first in order to make things more clear later on.)
⇨ YEAR 1
→ Ryoji really enjoys his stay in Adstringendum, be it good times or bad. His friendship with everyone blooms better than ever, and it seems that nothing can go wrong.
→ As the year comes to an end, something seems afoot...
⇨ YEAR 2
→ Unexpectedly, with the start of New Year's Eve, Ryoji starts to turn in what he wanted to avoid turning into at all costs the year before. As the change slowly takes place, he musters up the strength to talk with the Animus once again. Why was this happening? They've turned him human, didn't they? It turns out that the Animus never said that their end of the deal wouldn't have a time limit...
→ Desperate to stop the change, Ryoji makes another deal with the Animus. He stays human for a year more. This time, as payment, the Animus turn Ryoji's blood into poison.
→ Not really aware of what the Animus took away from him yet again, his next attempt to offer Okita blood doesn't end well. It turns out that he can't offer his blood to Souji anymore like this.
→ The guilt from not being able to help the person he cared about the most takes him on constant guilt trips. Feeling as if his his existence in Adstringendum has lost purpose, Ryoji falls more and more into depression.
⇨ YEAR 3
→ Another year is up. But this time, Ryoji doesn't think there's really that much point in dragging all of this further. Making yet another deal with the Animus was likely to get things only worse. He looks for somebody to kill him yet again.
→ Everything's set, but for some unexplained reason, this person doesn't kill him. Ryoji turns into Nyx Avatar instead. But surprisingly, his appearance doesn't bring the downfall of everything. He does not understand why he's been brought there, as his being in Adstringendum is a paradox in itself. With no way out, he simply keeps existing...

So, as for all the other stuff in detail:

» personality: To put things as easily as possible, Nyx Avatar could be considered as something akin to a death god/eternal being/all-wise existence. If asked, it would most likely say that Ryoji was simply one of the names it's been called once. All in all, personality-wise, Nyx Avatar and Ryoji have very little in common.
» physical: SOMETHING LIKE THIS AND IT'S A BIT BIG OKAY ...Frankly, none of the characters should actually recognize Ryoji in this. :|a
» friends:

(Note: the whole friend/lover/enemy thing applies till the point while Ryoji is still Ryoji. Once he turns into Nyx, he won't consider anyone a friend anymore... ;;;;; )
That all said, I'll most likely write a post with Nyx Avatar somewhere during the event. It's up to you guys if you want for your characters to actually know what happened to Ryoji or not. For some of you he might have simply disappeared without a word and hasn't been seen ever since, while some of you might actually know the truth. And a lot of the characters would most probably get confused or suspicious once the event is over. Somehow, Ryoji was nowhere to be seen during the event, wonder why is that, hmm?
How this whole event will affect Ryoji's mind after all is said and done is a whole different matter, however... LET TEH DRAMZ UNFOLD.
Who, what, where, and why is still open for discussion, so if any of you would have even the silliest ideas or would simply like for your characters to be included anywhere along the timeline, DON'T HESITATE AND COME AT ME BROS. I wouldn't mind plotting whatever else between all that - hell, I'd love to!

And I can easily assume Ami would be the first person Ryoji would turn to when it turned out that he can't give Okita his blood anymore... ;;; The question is whether she'd be okay with that.

If he knows that Nyx is what Ryoji turned into, Jun would probably have tried to talk to him. He does have some experience with eternal, all-knowing existences, even if it's not all good experience.
